Old mills, new function

What it Is:

There are a lot of old windmills in the Netherlands, most of these windmills are standing still and used as city decoration. These times are over because a dutch company called reggestroom decided to make green energy out of the mills. the idea is simple you can use the old mills in the same way that we use large commercial windmills. just turning the blades in the wind and there you go, free energy for everyone.

Why it is Cool:

It is cool because you can make free green energy of product that are already are available to us. The dutch culture used windmills for centuries long and its party of our culture so why don’t we take advantage of it. There are a lots of mills around the city and they only need a small update so they can fully functional as energy producer.

Why it has Future Growth Potential:

it has future potential because there are a lot of windmills in the Netherlands that aren’t doing anything. They just stand still and government money is needed to keep them up. With this project windmills are getting a new future in producing green energy
