What it Is:

Structure sensor is an touchable add on for your smart phone or personnel device. You can equip the structure sensor at your camera and from that point on your smart phone has the ability to capture and understand the world in 3D. How awesome is that! You can make 3D picture with it and you can easily capture a room for later use. The structure sensor sees distance, can capture depth and it even measures the space between different objects in the room. However the structure sensor doesn’t work on it’s own and you have to download an application on your smartphone so you can use the full functionality of the sensor.

Why it is Cool:

It is cool because the possibilities with this senor are all most endless and the consumer can use it instantly after he/she bought the product and downloaded the app. Several cool things that you can do with the sensor: You can hookup the sensor with an 3D printer and print all the stuff that you just 3D captured. You can capture the inside of  houses, shopping central or even entire city’s sow you can online walk trough them without leaving your house. After capturing the inside of all those things,  you can use the information for gaming maps and from there on you can even play (shooting) games in your own home town.

Why it has Future Growth Potential:

The structure sensor has growth potential because it is small, you can use it very fast and it looks cool on your smartphone. The sensor can be used for a better gaming experience and you can use it for training simulations in real life 3D captured environments. If that isn’t enough there is also an business side, where it can me used in construction, 3D presentations and illustration programs such as autocat. within the structure sensor app there is a little game called fetch the dog, it’s a game where you can play with a virtual dog intro your own virtual captured room.
